The HVC Race Dept is looking for coaches, hill-crew, and support personnel for the coming snow season.

Coaches: positions exist for both Hot Shots/Hurricane and USSA Junior athlete coaches.  The former coaches provide structured ski coaching for young athletes with interest in introductory level ski racing in a relaxed fun-filled weekend sessions. The latter coaches provide a higher instructional level of ski racing from a mix of USSA registered & certified coaches in a more intense training environment consisting of structured skiing, drills, gate training, and competition with sessions on weekends and weekday evenings.

Hill Crew: a team-work oriented, multi-tasking group that provides support to a fast paced race environment. The team coordinates installation & management of "B" netting, crowd control fencing, race start & finish zones, gate management, and course maintenance on all race & training trails.

Support: a staff of people involved with preparation, operational timing management , and post race results process of USSA, High School, and special race events at the mountain.

     • No employee family discounts will be granted until potential employee
       application is complete & accepted.
     • Applicant will not get paid or receive house account credit until all
       required application paperwork is completed, submitted to and accepted
       by HVC Race Dept and has attended the respective required "Orientation" briefing.
